Getting around
Getting around Goa — airport, taxis, bikes
Goa is small on the map and slow on the road in season. The right transfer is the one that matches your flight time, luggage, and whether anyone in the group rides. We can arrange a pickup when you ask; we do not pretend there is a hidden Uber price.
Airport
GOX (Mopa / Manohar International, north) and GOI (Dabolim, the older field near Vasco) serve different parts of the state. Say which one you land at — the drive to a north village vs Palolem is not the same evening.
Prepaid counters and pre-booked cars beat haggling at arrivals with tired children. If you want us to hold a driver, put the flight number on the enquiry.
Days on the ground
A scooter or Enfield is how a lot of visitors see the lanes taxis skip. Papers and a helmet matter; we only send you to hire we are willing to stand behind — ask us what is free for your dates.
Families and monsoon weeks usually want a car. App cabs exist in pockets and vanish when it rains. A driver for a day is often calmer than four separate hops.
Ferries and the rest
River ferries (Divar, and others) are cheap and slow in a good way. They are not a transfer product — just a useful way to cross if you are already nearby.
When to go
Peak evenings (Christmas week, New Year) add time to every airport run. Build a buffer. In monsoon, prefer a car over a late-night bike.
