Sample outline
A 3-day north Goa outline — not a booked itinerary
This is a planning outline, not a reservation. North Goa works when you pick one base and stop moving house. We usually look at village houses inland of Anjuna, Assagao or Siolim — not a hotel corridor — and only name a home once we have checked your dates.
Day 1 — Arrive and stay put
Land, take a pre-booked car if the flight is late, and do not add a second village. A first evening is a walk, a simple thali, and sleep. Night markets and long shack crawls can wait.
If you arrive after dark, skip the scooter until morning. Papers and a helmet matter more than a sunset photograph.
Day 2 — Water in the morning, village in the afternoon
Pick one stretch for the morning — a busier north beach if you want shacks in walking distance, or a quieter bay if swimming is the point. Flags and rip currents decide whether you swim. We will not invent a “best beach” score.
Afternoon back at the house, or a short hop to a village lane for coffee. One plan for the day is enough. Two bases in three days wastes the middle day on bags.
Day 3 — One outing, then the airport
If you still have a full morning: Fontainhas on foot, a church hour with shoulders covered, or a second quieter beach. Leave slack for the drive to GOX — winter holiday weeks clog both the highway and the terminal.
If the flight is early, this day is breakfast and a car. Do not squeeze in a market “because we are here”.
What this is not
This is not a catalogue. We do not hold a named house until we check those dates.
A licensed rider can add a bike for the lanes; we do not publish hire rates here.
December–January evenings are louder in the north. Say so if you want sleep more than a Wednesday market.
