A 3-day south Goa outline — slower sand, one base
South Goa is the better three-day trip if you want longer sand and evenings that stay quiet. Stay in one place. Dabolim (GOI) is usually the simpler airport for the south coast. We will only name a house after we know your dates.
Day 1 — Arrive and walk the sand
A pre-booked car from GOI beats hunting a bike at arrivals. Check in, walk the beach you can see from the lane, eat something simple. The point of the south is that you do not need a plan for the first night.
If you land after sunset, stay in. Cliff paths and unlit village roads are a bad first-hour idea.
Day 2 — A long beach morning, then rest
Colva and Benaulim are open and easy for a family swim-and-thali day. Agonda and the Cabo belt are slower if you want fewer touts. Boats and cliff walks depend on weather — we will say if a day is a bad idea.
Afternoon at the house. A cook, if you asked for one, is more useful than a second restaurant. We do not publish a shack list; names go stale.
Day 3 — One short outing or a slow morning
A river village, a fort walk if it is open, or simply a second morning on the same sand. Leave time for GOI. Peak winter queues at Dabolim are real; we will not invent a transfer minute-count.
Under a week, one good house usually beats two bases.
What this is not
Swimming is not guaranteed on every popular beach. Tell us if the water is the point of the trip.
Monsoon weeks (roughly June–September) pause a lot of sea work. Inland or verandah days are the honest version.
We will not invent a nightly rate or a “south Goa package” on this page.
